From castle kitchen to museum building: the history of Müller House

The exhibition has already been held

Date of the exhibition: 12. 5. 2020 - 31. 12. 2020; Venue: Müller House

The photographic installation will bring to life the fate of the Müller House, the only remnant of the Opava castle complex associated with the Liechtenstein family. It will explain how the house got its present name, who were its residents and what their fates were. You will also discover when and how the building came to be used for museum purposes. The earliest history of the building, which served as the kitchen of a Přemyslid castle in the Middle Ages, will also be presented. Later on, the building was rebuilt depending on its function until its present form.
